12. FLEET ELECTRIFICATION AND ELECTRIC VEHICLE CHARGING\nINFRASTRUCTURE MASTER PLAN\nRecommendations:\n(1) Review and accept the Fleet Electrification and Electric Vehicle Charging\nInfrastructure Master Plan;\n(2) Adopt the Resolution titled, “A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF\nTHE CITY OF LAGUNA BEACH, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING THE ZERO-\nEMISSION BUS ROLLOUT PLAN,” in order to comply with State regulations;\n(3) Direct staff to procure consultant services to develop a multi-stage\nimplementation plan to transition the City’s fleet to electric vehicles, including\nassociated infrastructure and facility improvements, as well as a funding and\nprocurement strategy, with the goal of converting the majority of the City’s fleet to\nelectric vehicles by 2035; and\n(4) Direct staff to prepare a phased funding and implementation plan to install\nadditional electric vehicle charging stations in public parking lots.\nStaff Report
