H Consideration and possible action to adopt Resolution No. 23-04 – A\nResolution awarding a contract for purchase and installation of catch basin\nconnector pipe screens (City Project No. 22/23-03) pursuant to Government\nCode § 830.6 and authorizing the City Manager to execute Agreement File\nNo. 983, in a form approved by the City Attorney, with G2 Construction, Inc.\nwithout the need for California Public Contract Code bidding as otherwise\nrequired by the Bellflower Municipal Code. [CITY]______________________\nCEQA: The proposed agreement with G2 consists of the purchase and installation\nof catch basin inserts, which involves negligible or no expansion of an existing use.\nPursuant to the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) (Public Resources\nCode §§ 21000, et seq.) and CEQA Guidelines (California Code of Regulations,\nTitle 14, §§ 15000, et seq.), the installation of catch basin inserts in County-owned\ncatch basins is categorically exempt from CEQA based upon a Class 1 exemption.\nRecommendation to City Council: 1) Adopt Resolution No. 23-04; or\n2) Alternatively, discuss and take other action related to this item.\nBellflower City Council/Bellflower Financing Authority Agenda\n12 CONSENT CALENDAR – Continued
