11. TELECONFERENCE MEETINGS AFTER TERMINATION OF CALIFORNIA\nEMERGENCY DECLARATION\nTeleconferenced meetings after California emergency declaration rescinded.\nRecommendation:\nIt is staff’s recommendation that the City Council either:\n1 ) Direct staff to continue teleconference meeting accommodations following recission of\nthe statewide declaration of emergency resulting from the spread of COVID-19 set to\nexpire on February 28, 2023, and establish a policy that only the first two members of the\nCouncil, commission, or committee, to notify the City Manager or City Clerk of a\nteleconference participation request, will be granted teleconference meeting privileges\nunder AB 2449; or\n2 ) Direct staff to terminate teleconference meeting accommodations for City Council,\nCommission, and Ad Hoc Committee Meetings.
