PARKS, RECREATION, AND COMMUNITY SERVICES DEPARTMENT\nStaff report recommending that the Mayor and Council Members award a contract and\napprove an agreement with GA Builders LLC dba GA Construction for the Rogers Park\nExercising Equipment Project, per Bid No. CB-23-09. (General Fund)\nRecommendation:\n1. Award contract and approve agreement in the amount of $96,000\n(including a City-controlled contingency amount of $9,000, for a total\ncost of $105,000);\n2. Adopt a resolution 1) accepting a donation, in the amount of $115,000,\nfrom the American Heart Association for Greenfield and Matrix brand\nfitness stations for Rogers Park; 2) authorizing the repurposing of\n$40,000 from Project No. P964 (Park Fencing and Signage\nImprovements) to cover equipment installation costs; and 3) amending\nthe Fiscal Year 2022-2023 Budget to reflect the addition of the\naforementioned funds; and\n3.
