9. Designation of Voting Delegate and Alternate(s) to the League of California Cities\nConference & Expo – Sacramento - September 20-22, 2023\nRecommendation: that the City Council a.) Select a Voting Delegate and Voting Alternate\nto represent the City of Lawndale at the 2023 League of California Cities Annual\nConference; and b.) direct staff in the City Clerk Department to forward the appropriate\nformal minute action of such designation to the League of California Cities and the City\nManager Department; and c.) determine if additional Councilmembers will attend the\nconference, including the funding account; and, if yes, d.) direct the Finance Director/City\nTreasurer to identify and appropriate the additional funding required, and make the\nappropriate transfer of funds to the City Council Travel/Meetings fund.\nAgenda\nJuly 17, 2023
