ACCEPTANCE OF A DONATION TO FUND ARTWORK FOR A PRIDE\nLIFEGUARD TOWER AT CAMEL POINT BEACH\nRecommendations:\n(1) Approve placement of Pride artwork on Lifeguard Tower at Camel Point;\n(2) Accept the donation from Laguna Beach residents Steve Chadima and Mark\nPorterfield to fund artwork for a Pride Lifeguard Tower at Camel Point;\n(3) Approve the placement of a plaque acknowledging the donors;\n(4) Authorize the Mayor to send a letter of appreciation for the donation; and\n(5) Appropriate $10,000 with a matching increase in revenues to modify the\nlifeguard tower.\nStaff Report
