17. INTRODUCTION AND RECOMMENDATION ON AN ORDINANCE ADDING\nCHAPTER 7.85 OF THE LAGUNA BEACH MUNICIPAL CODE\nRESTRICTING THE SALE, DISTRIBUTION AND USE OF CERTAIN\nBALLOONS\nRecommendation: Introduce the Ordinance prohibiting the sale, public use, and\ndistribution of either: A) all metallic balloons, regardless of fill; B) metallic balloons\ninflated with a gas lighter than air; or C) all balloons (latex or metallic) inflated with a\ngas lighter than air by 1) asking the City Clerk to read the title of the Ordinance; and\n2) approving a motion to waive further reading of the Ordinance and to pass it to a\nsecond reading.\nStaff Report
