12.O. 22-028 Savage Canyon Landfill Side Slope Repair - Award of Contract\nRecommendation:\n1) Adopt Resolution No. WUA-2023-03 amending FY 2023-24 budget in the\namount of $296,178.52 in supplemental funds to be allocated for the\nSavage Canyon Landfill Side Slope Repair project;\n2) Award the construction contract to Aguilar and Calderon, Inc., in the\namount of $632,889.56 for the construction of the Savage Canyon\nLandfill Side Slope Repair;\n3) Reject all other bids;\n4) Authorize the Executive Director to sign the contract on behalf of the\nWhittier Utility Authority; and\n5) Approve $63,288.96 in contingency for the Savage Canyon Landfill Side\nSlope Repair project subject to the approval of the Executive Director.
