7.d. CONSIDERATION AND APPROVAL OF RESOLUTIONS NO. 23-74\nAND 23-75, AWARDING CONSTRUCTION CONTRACTS TO 1) GREEN\nENERGY INNOVATIONS, INC. (GEIl) FOR LIGHTING ENERGY\nEFFICIENCY UPGRADES AND TO 2) AC PROS, INC FOR\nMECHANICAL ENERGY EFFICIENCY UPGRADES FUNDED BY THE\nDEPARTMENT OF ENERGY (DOE) FOR THE AUTONOMOUS\nBUILDING CONTROL RETROFIT PROJECT\nThe City received Department of Energy (DOE) grants funds for lighting\nenergy efficiency and mechanical energy efficiency upgrades. These\nupgrades will be made to the City's Community Center, Mini Center and\nSenior Center.\nRECOMMENDED ACTION: Staff recommends City Council:\n1. Review bids submitted for the work to be completed and find that 1)\nGreen Energy Innovations, Inc. (GEl) and 2) AC Pros, Inc. have\nsubmitted the lowest responsive bids respectively for the\nProject;\n2. Adopt Resolution No. 23-74, awarding aconstruction contract to\nGreen Energy Innovations, Inc. (GEI) for lighting energy efficiency\nupgrades;\n3. Adopt Resolution No. 23-75, awarding a construction contract to AC\nPros, Inc. for mechanical energy efficiency upgrades; and\n4. Authorize City Manager or designee to negotiate and execute both\ncontracts.
