14. 23-657 Approve and accept the Fiscal Year (FY) 2022 Assistance to\nFirefighters Grant; authorize the Fire Chief and Chief Financial\nOfficer to execute documents; and approve budget appropriations\nRecommended Action:\nA) Approve and accept the FY 2022 Assistance to Firefighters Grant awarded to the City\nof Huntington Beach; and\nB) Assign authority to the Fire Chief and Chief Financial Officer as the officials to execute\nand sign for the FY 2022 Assistance to Firefighters Grant award, agreement,\namendments, and extensions; and\nC) Approve the budget appropriations and expenditures of $144,290.90, which is the\nfederal award amount. The remaining $14,429.10 non-federal matching requirement will\nbe funded by existing budget appropriations in the FY 2023/24 Fire Department operating\nbudget.\nHUMAN RESOURCES
