Projected savings in personnel expenditures due to vacancies, will offset the cost of\nthis position.\nCouncil District(s) Affected: Citywide.\nProposed Actions:\n(O-2024-2)\nIntroduction of an Ordinance authorizing the exemption of a Program Coordinator\nposition in the City's Library Department from the Classified Service, based on advisory\nreview and favorable comment by the Civil Service Commission on April 7, 2023. This\nposition will serve as the Special Events Coordinator and manage public, private, and\ninternal events at the Department's special event spaces.
