RESOLUTION NO.      - Public Parking Rate Ranges and Special Event Parking Rates for the new LAX Budget Parking at Los Angeles International Airport:  And authority for the Chief Executive Officer to set specific posted rates within the ranges and offer online pre-book parking discounts \nPURPOSE: The action requests approval for implementation of parking rate ranges for public parking and special events for the new LAX Budget Parking lot (located at the previous Lot E parking lot) at Los Angeles International Airport, effective upon commencement of operations of the new parking lot. The action requests further approval to grant the Chief Executive Officer authority to modify the posted parking rates within the approved parking rate ranges and implement discounted rates based on online reservations or other marking programs. \nRECOMMENDATIONS: Adoption of the Report requesting that the Board of Airport Commissioners determine that this action is exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) pursuant to Article III, Class 1 (31) of the Los Angeles City CEQA Guidelines; approve the new public parking rate ranges and special event parking rates for LAX Budget Parking at Los Angeles International Airport, effective upon commencement of operations of the new parking lot; and authorize the Chief Executive Officer, or designee, to implement said rates, set specific posted rates within the approved ranges and grant authority to offer discounts on the posted rates based on online reservations or other marketing programs.
