RESOLUTION NO.      - Travel Authority to fund Los Angeles Fire Department Personnel:  To attend the Aircraft Rescue and Fire Fighting Working Group Conference during September 2023, for estimated total cost of $10,000 to cover registration fees, airfare, lodging, and per diems \nPURPOSE: The purpose of the proposed action is to seek approval for use of Los Angeles World Airports resources to fund travel and related expenses for Los Angeles Fire Department personnel to attend the Aircraft Rescue and Fire Fighting Working Group Conference during September 2023. \nRECOMMENDATIONS: Adoption of the Report requesting that the Board of Airport Commissioners determine that this action is exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) pursuant to Article II, Section 2.f of the Los Angeles City CEQA Guidelines; approve the travel authority to fund Los Angeles Fire Department personnel to attend the Aircraft Rescue and Fire Fighting Working Group Conference; and authorize the Chief Executive Officer, or designee, to review, approve and pay the related expenses.
