2. RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS, SPECIFICATIONS, AND APPROVAL OF\nCONTRACT WITH MBC ENTERPRISES, INC. FOR THE PEAK PARK AND\nBOISSERANC PARK POOL IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT\nPresented by Mina Mikhael, P.E., Director of Public Works/City Engineer\nPurpose: Approve plans, specifications, and authorize the Public Works Department to\nhire a contractor for the Peak Park and Boisseranc Park Pool Improvements Project.\nAssociated construction costs in the amount of $2,207,748.79 will be funded from\nGeneral Fund (Account No. 32-9806-290163).\nRecommended Action: 1) Adopt a resolution approving plans and specifications for the\nPeak Park and Boisseranc Park Pool Improvements Project; 2) Award a contract to MBC\nEnterprises, Inc. in the amount of $2,099,648.79; 3) Authorize contingency funds in the\namount of $100,000 in the same purchase order; 4) Authorize a purchase order for The\nSolis Group in the amount of $8,100 for administration of the Community Workforce\nAgreement (CWA); and, 5) Authorize the City Manager and the City Clerk to execute the\ncontract.
