1. APPEAL OF PLANNING COMMISSION ACTION, REVOCATION NO. RVK-23-1\nREVOKING CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT NO. CU-716 AND ALL SUBSEQUENT\nMODIFICATIONS FOR 7762 BEACH BOULEVARD\n(BUENA PARK GRAND HOTEL & SUITES)\nPresented by Matt Foulkes, Director of Community & Economic Development\nPurpose: To consider the appeal of the Planning Commission’s action to revoke\nConditional Use Permit CU-716 and its modifications for the property located at\n7762 Beach Boulevard (Buena Park Grand Hotel & Suites).\nRecommended Action: Continue the appeal hearing for a period of time equal to the\nattached and agreed upon schedule of performance, with the public hearing to\nreconvene upon fifteen (15) days’ notice for the City Council’s consideration of the\nappeal in light of appellants’ success or failure to complete the improvements specified\nin the mutually agreed performance schedule or, upon failure to meet the milestones in\nthe performance schedule, a 15-day notice to reconvene the Appeal hearing.\nThe appellant supports this recommendation and agrees to the performance schedule.
