2.Q. CO-SPONSORSHIP OF THE EQUAL MEANS\nEQUAL ERA FEMINIST ART SHOW [Y.\nQUARKER, H. MOLINA, J. DEL TORO, L.\nFOOKS]:\nThe City Council will consider co-sponsoring the\nEQUAL MEANS EQUAL ERA Feminist Art Show to\nbe held between August 27 - September 26, 2023 as\npart of the City’s annual commemoration of Women’s\nEquality Day and in recognition of this year’s\nNational Voter Registration Day.\nRECOMMENDATIONS: 1) Approve a Co-\nSponsorship Agreement with the Heroica Foundation\nin support of the ERA Feminist Art Show to be held\nbetween August 27 - September 26, 2023 at Long\nHall in Plummer Park not to exceed a total amount of\n$5,000; 2) Direct staff to incorporate the EQUAL\nMEANS EQUAL ERA Feminist Art Show into this\nyear's annual commemoration of Women's Equality\nDay programming and the City's recognition of\nNational Voter Registration Day; 3) Authorize the City\nManager to execute documents incident to the\nAgreement; 4) Authorize the use of the City name\nand logo on invitations, programs, and other\ncollateral materials; and 5) Direct the\nCommunications Department to utilize all appropriate\ncommunications tools to promote the event such as\nthe City's website and social media tools.\nSTAFF REPORT
