6.E. CO-SPONSORSHIP OF A SPIRIT ROYALE DRAG\nCHEERLEADING CHAMPIONSHIP EVENT [L.\nMEISTER, Y. QUARKER, H. MOLINA, J. DEL\nTORO]:\nThe West Hollywood City Council will consider a\nrequest to co-sponsor the West Hollywood\nCheerleaders and Life Group LA’s Spirit Royale Drag\nCheerleading Championship event, scheduled to\ntake place in West Hollywood on Thursday, October\n19, 2023.\nRECOMMENDATIONS: 1) Approve the co-\nsponsorship of the Spirit Royale Drag Cheerleading\nChampionship event on Thursday, October 19, 2023\nat The Abbey Food & Bar; 2) Authorize the City\nManager or his designee to execute documents\nincident to the Co-sponsorship Agreement between\nthe City and West Hollywood Cheerleaders; 3)\nAuthorize the use of the City name and logo on\ninvitations, programs, and other collateral materials\nfor the event; 4) Direct the Communications\nDepartment to utilize all appropriate communication\ntools to promote this event, including posting event-\nrelated information on the City's website and social\nmedia channels; and 5) Authorize additional two\nhours of validated parking for up to 50 vehicles at the\n5-story West Hollywood Park garage, for a total of\nthree hours not to exceed $400, as well as authorize\nthe reservation of 15 parking spots on the first level\nof the garage for City Council, dignitaries, lead staff,\nand event organizers.\nSTAFF REPORT\nITEM 6.E. - ATTACHMENT A
