6.D. CO-SPONSORSHIP OF THE RED DRESS PARTY\nDAY EVENT [J. ERICKSON, Y. QUARKER, H.\nMOLINA, J. DEL TORO]:\nThe City Council will consider co-sponsoring this\nyear’s Red Dress Party Day event on September 24,\n2023. This year’s event is being organized by\nparticipating businesses in the City’s Rainbow District\nand the Los Angeles Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence.\nParty Day event on September 24, 2023, taking\nplace at participating businesses within the City's\nRainbow District; 2) Authorize the City Manager or\ndesignee to execute documents incident to the Co-\nsponsorship and any other ancillary City permits that\nmay be required for this event Agreement; 3)\nAuthorize the use of the City's name and logo on\ninvitations, programs, and other collateral materials;\n4) Direct the Communications Department to utilize\nall appropriate communication tools to promote the\nevent, including posting event-related information on\nthe City's website and social media tools; and 5)\nApprove the waiver of Encroachment Permit Fees,\nParking Fees, Special Event Permit Fees, and any\nother ancillary City permits that may be required for\nthis event (estimated $730.00).\nSTAFF REPORT\nITEM 6.D. - ATTACHMENT A
