6.C. CO-SPONSORSHIP OF ONE ARCHIVES\nFOUNDATION’S CIRCA: LGBTQ+ HISTORIES\nFESTIVAL [J. ERICKSON, Y. QUARKER, H.\nMOLINA, J. DEL TORO]:\nThe West Hollywood City Council will consider a\nrequest to co-sponsor ONE Archives Foundation’s\nmonth-long Circa: LGBTQ+ Histories Festival, taking\nplace in October 2023 at various locations in West\nHollywood and surrounding cities.\nRECOMMENDATIONS: 1) Approve the Co-\nsponsorship of ONE Archives Foundation's Circa:\nLGBTQ+ Histories Festival, taking place during the\nmonth of October 2023 and surrounding cities; 2)\nAuthorize the City Manager or his designee to\nexecute documents incident to the co-sponsorship\nAgreement; 3) Authorize the use of the City's name\nand logo on invitations, programs, and other\ncollateral materials for the event; 4) Direct the\nCommunications Department to utilize all appropriate\ncommunication tools to promote this event, including\nposting event-related information on the City's\nwebsite and social media channels; and 5) Authorize\nthe Director of Finance & Technology Services to\nallocate $10,000 from budgeted funds in the Special\nCouncil Programs account number 100-1-01-00-\n531001 for costs associated with the events.\nSTAFF REPORT\nITEM 6.C. - ATTACHMENT A
