6.B. WEST HOLLYWOOD ARTISTS & ICONS SERIES\nEVENT FEATURING TIMOTHY SULLIVAN [J.\nERICKSON, Y. QUARKER, H. MOLINA, J. DEL\nTORO, L. BIERY, R. EHEMANN, J. TRIBBLE]:\nThe City Council will consider approval of a West\nHollywood Artists & Icons series event featuring\nTimothy Sullivan. This series celebrates the lives and\nwork of West Hollywood residents and artists who\npresent their work in the City, and who have made\nsignificant contributions to local, national, or global\nculture.\nRECOMMENDATIONS: 1) Direct staff to organize an\nArtists and Icons event, which will include a special\nscreening of the film Relighting Candles: The Timothy\nSullivan Story, followed by a panel discussion and\nQ&A; 2) Authorize the use of the City name and logo\non invitations, programs, and other collateral\nmaterials for the event; 3) Direct the Communications\nDepartment to utilize all appropriate communication\ntools to promote the event including, but not limited\nto, the City's website, a press release, and social\nmedia tools; and 4) Authorize the Director of Finance\nand Technology Services to allocate $2,000 from\nFiscal Year (FY) 2023-24 budgeted funds in the\nSpecial Council Programs account number 100-1-01-\n00-531001 for costs associated with this event.\nSTAFF REPORT
