9G. General Services - Appropriate Funds and Award Contract Services Agreement\nfor Replacement of Heavy-Duty Vehicle Lifts. Expenditure: Not-to-Exceed\n$2,051,407.60 (Non-General Fund).\nRecommendation of the General Services Director that City Council:\n1) Appropriate $651,407.60 from the Fleet Services Fund's fund balance to the fiscal year\n2023-24 operating budget; and\n2) Appropriate $651,407.60 to Facility, Equipment, and Automation Plan (FEAP) 1106 -\nHeavy Duty Vehicle Lifts Replacement Project; and\n3) Award a contract services agreement to Pacific Lift & Equipment Company, Inc. of\nPasadena, CA (RFP 82023-09) for an amount not-to-exceed $1,864,915.60 and\nauthorize a 10% contingency in the amount of $186,492 for FEAP 1106 - Heavy-Duty\nVehicle Lifts Replacement Project for a one-year period beginning August 22, 2023\nand ending August 21, 2024; and\n4) Adopt a finding that the project is categorically exempt under the California\nEnvironmental Quality Act (CEQA) pursuant to State CEQA Guidelines Section\n15301- Existing Facilities (Class 1) and that there are no features that distinguish this\nproject from others in the exempt class, and therefore, there are no unusual\ncircumstances.
