FISCAL YEAR 2022 EDWARD BYRNE MEMORIAL JUSTICE ASSISTANCE\nGRANT PROGRAM - The City of Santa Clarita has been awarded a grant for a total of\n$21,982 by the United States Department of Justice, Bureau of Justice Assistance,\nthrough the Fiscal Year 2022 Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant (JAG)\nprogram. The JAG program allows state and local governments to support a broad range\nof activities to prevent and respond to crime, based on local needs and conditions.\nRECOMMENDED ACTION:\nCity Council:\n1. Accept Fiscal Year 2022 Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant funds\nfrom the U.S. Department of Justice, Bureau of Justice Assistance.\n2. Increase estimated revenue in account 206-446123 (Justice Assistance Grant 2022) by\n$21,982.\n3. Increase estimated expenditure in account 2066105-511101 (Special Supplies) by\n$21,982.\n4. Authorize the City Manager, or designee, to execute all contracts and associated\ndocuments subject to City Attorney approval.
