7. Purchase of Three Replacement Police Vehicles\nRecommendation \n1. Authorize waiving the formal bidding requirements pursuant to El\nsegundo Municipal Code § 1-7-9(A) to replace two police K9 patrol\nvehicles originally due for replacement in September 2020 and a\nSergeant's patrol vehicle due for replacement in September 2024 for\n$162,497.90, with an additional $24,374.69 as a contingency fund for\npotential unforeseen supply chain issues.\n2. Authorize Public Works to auction three police vehicles following their\nreplacement.\n3. Authorize the City Manager to execute any necessary agreements or\nassociated documents necessary to complete the purchase of three\npolice vehicles and auction of the vehicles to be replaced.\n4.
