City Council

September 11, 2023 Order of Business 13 #A

Agenda Item A

A Consideration and possible action to set a public hearing for Zoning\nOrdinance Text Amendment Case No. ZOTA 23-01 and Conditional Use\nPermit Case No. CU 23-01. __________________________________________\nCEQA: The recommended action, by itself, is exempt from review under the\nCalifornia Environmental Quality Act (Public Resources Code §§ 21000, et seq.,\n“CEQA”) and CEQA regulations (14 California Code of Regulations §§ 15000, et\nseq.) because it does not involve any commitment to a specific project which could\nresult in a potentially significant physical impact on the environment; and constitute\nan organizational or administrative activity that will not result in direct or indirect\nphysical changes in the environment. Accordingly, the proposed action does not\nconstitute a “project” that requires environmental review (see specifically 14 Cal.\nCode of Regs. § 15378(b)(4-5)).\nRecommendation to City Council: 1) Set a public hearing for ZOTA 23-01 and\nCU 23-01 for September 25, 2023; or 2) Alternatively, discuss and take other\naction related to this item.
