8. Amendment No. One to Gift Agreement Between City of Newport Beach and\nFriends of Newport Beach Animal Shelter to Accept Donation of the Real\nProperty at 20282 Riverside Drive\na) Determine this action is exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act\n(CEQA) pursuant to Section 15060(c)(2) (the activity will not result in a direct or\nreasonably foreseeable indirect physical change in the environment) and Section\n15060(c)(3) (the activity is not a project as defined in Section 15378) of the CEQA\nGuidelines, California Code of Regulations, Title 14, Chapter 3, because this action\nwill not result in a physical change to the environment, directly or indirectly; and\nb) Authorize the City Manager and City Clerk to execute Amendment No. One to\nthe Gift Agreement and all associated documents necessary to complete the\ndonation transaction, with Friends of Newport Beach Animal Shelter, to accept\ndonation of the property at 20282 Riverside Drive, in a form substantially similar\nto the agreement prepared by the City Attorney.\nStaff Report\nAttachment A - Amendment No. One\nAttachment B - Gift Agreement
