13. 23-1026 Recommendation to authorize City Manager, or designee, to execute all\nnecessary documents and any subsequent amendments, including any\namendments to the award amount and term dates, with the California\nOffice of Traffic Safety to accept and expend grant funding in the amount\nof $285,000 to reduce and mitigate the impacts of drug-impaired driving in\nLong Beach for a 12-month period estimated to begin October 1, 2023\nthrough September 30, 2024, with an option to extend the agreement for\nan additional 36-month period at the discretion of the City Manager; and\nIncrease appropriations in the amount of $33,582 in the Health Fund\nGroup in the Health and Human Services Department, offset by grant\nrevenue.
