17. City Council Committee and Regional Board/Committee Representative Appointments\nand Update Posting of FPPC Form 806 Online\nRecommended Action: (1) That the Mayor appoint representatives and alternates (when\napplicable) to the following regional boards/committees and that the City Council vote on the\nappointments: (a) Orange County Fire Authority Board of Directors (by adoption of\nResolution 23-XX required/attached only if appointee has changed from previous year;\nstipend $100 per meeting); and (b) Transportation Corridor Agencies (stipend $120 per\nmeeting): (2) That the Mayor appoint members to the existing City of Mission Viejo\nCommittees: (a) Standing CUSD Committee, (b) Standing Economic Development\nCommittee, (c) Mission Viejo Olympics Committee, (d) Voter Education Ad Hoc Committee,\nand (e) Housing Ad Hoc Committee; (3) That the Mayor appoint representatives and\nalternates to the following regional/boards/committees: (a) California Joint Power Insurance\nAuthority, (b) League of California Cities and Association of California Cities, Orange\nCounty (representatives to the League are Mayor and Mayor Pro Tem), (c) Orange County\nCouncil of Governments General Assembly, (d) Southern California Association of\nGovernments (SCAG) General Assembly, and (e) Southern Orange County Watershed\nManagement Area Executive Committee; and (4) the City Clerk shall update the appointees\nlist as required by law on Form 806 and post that form to the City's website.\nCITY MANAGER REPORT\nCITY ATTORNEY REPORT
