DEPARTMENTAL REPORTS\nDR-1. FINANCE DEPARTMENT\nStaff report recommending that the Mayor and Council Members adopt a resolution to authorize the\nissuance of taxable pension obligation bonds (the 2023 Bonds) to 1) redeem the outstanding taxable\npension obligation bond anticipation notes (the 2023 Notes); 2) refund a portion of the outstanding\ntaxable pension obligation bonds issued in 2005 (the 2005A Bonds and the 2005C Bonds); 3) fund\nthe City of Inglewood’s normal pension costs for Fiscal Year 2023-2024; 4) pay the costs of\nissuance for the 2023 Bonds; and 5) take all actions contemplated by the Resolution including\napproving a Third Supplemental Trust Agreement, a Continuing Disclosure Agreement, a Bond\nPurchase Agreement, and authorizing distribution of a preliminary official statement.\nRecommendation:\n1.
