Check Registers – August 13, 2023, through August 26, 2023.\nApprove the Check and Wire Registers for August 13, 2023, through August 26, 2023, in the\namount of $28,747,541.62 as presented.\nAt each regular City Council Meeting, the City Council is presented with a check and\nACH/wire registers listing the financial claims (invoices) against the City for the purchase of\nmaterials, supplies, services, and capital projects issued the prior three to four weeks. This\nprocess allows the City Council to review the City's expenditures. Claims are paid via checks,\nAutomated Clearing House (ACH) payments, or federal wires. The justifying backup\ninformation for each expenditure is available in the Finance Department.
