6.C. PROPOSED AMENDMENTS TO THE BUSINESS\nLICENSE TAX ORDINANCE TO EXPAND\nINCENTIVES FOR BUSINESSES RENEWING\nLEASES IN WEST HOLLYWOOD [J. HEILMAN, Y.\nQUARKER, H. MOLINA]:\nThe City Council will consider directing staff and the\nCity Attorney to draft amendments to the City’s\nBusiness License Tax Ordinance to expand\nincentives for businesses renewing leases in the City.\nRECOMMENDATIONS: 1) Direct staff and the City\nAttorney to review the City's Business License Tax\nOrdinance and, if feasible, expand existing incentive\nprograms to include most businesses renewing\nleases in the City; and 2) Direct the City Attorney to\ndraft an ordinance repealing Section 3.36.092 of the\nWest Hollywood Municipal Code as that section has\nexpired.\nSTAFF REPORT
