HEREDIA]:\nThe City Council will consider approving street\nclosures of portions of Sunset Boulevard, North San\nVicente Boulevard, Santa Monica Boulevard and\nNorth Doheny Drive to accommodate the Los\nAngeles Marathon for its event on Sunday, March 17,\n2024.\nRECOMMENDATIONS: 1) Approve the closure of\nSunset Boulevard between Marmont Lane and Clark\nStreet/North San Vicente Boulevard on Sunday,\nMarch 17, 2024, from 4:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.; 2)\nApprove the closure of North San Vicente Boulevard\nbetween Sunset Boulevard and Melrose Avenue on\nSunday, March 17, 2024, from 4:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.;\n3) Approve the closure of Santa Monica Boulevard\nbetween La Cienega Boulevard and North Doheny\nDrive on Sunday, March 17, 2024, from 4:00 a.m. to\n2:00 p.m.; 4) Approve the closure of North Doheny\nDrive between Santa Monica Boulevard and Beverly\nBoulevard on Sunday, March 17, 2024, from 4:00\na.m. to 2:00 p.m.; and 5) Authorize the City Manager\nor his designee to negotiate with event producers\nregarding additional route, programming, or\nsponsorship requests.\nSTAFF REPORT
