6.B. IMPLEMENTATION OF A BICYCLE REPAIR\nSTATIONS PILOT PROGRAM [J. ERICKSON, Y.\nQUARKER, H. MOLINA, J. DEL TORO, M.\nWATSON]:\nThe City Council will consider the implementation of\na bicycle repair stations pilot program with locations\nto be determined. These stations will be equipped\nwith a basic repair kit to assist bicyclists.\nRECOMMENDATIONS: 1) Direct staff to work with\nthe Public Facilities, Recreation, and Infrastructure\nCommission to develop a bicycle repair station pilot\nprogram, which will include the selection of locations\nfor the stations and incorporate feedback from the\nTransportation Commission; 2) Direct staff to develop\nmetrics to measure the success of the program and\nreturn to City Council within 18 months with a\nprogram report and evaluation of the pilot program;\nand 3) Authorize the Director of Finance and\nTechnology Services to reserve $9,000 from Fiscal\nYear (FY) 2023-24 budgeted funds in the Special\nCouncil Programs account number 100-1-01-00-\n531001 for costs associated with the implementation\nof this pilot program.\nSTAFF REPORT\nITEM 6.B. - ATTACHMENT A
