RESOLUTION NO. - First Amendment to Contract DA-5498 with Paslay Management Group: To increase the contract authority to new total not to exceed $2,250,000, covering on-call professional services for Los Angeles World Airports \nPURPOSE: Staff request approval of the proposed amendment to increase the contract authority for the Paslay Management Group contract from $1,500,000 to $2,250,000 to continue the professional services that support airline lease negotiations, transition of the rental car companies to the new Consolidated Rent-A-Car Facility, development of concessions leasing plans at Los Angeles International Airport, and design review and coordination of airline and concession construction projects. \nRECOMMENDATIONS: Adoption of the Report requesting that the Board of Airport Commissioners determine that this action is exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) pursuant to Article II, Section 2.f of the Los Angeles City CEQA Guidelines; find that the work can be performed more economically or feasibly by an independent contractor than by City employees; approve the First Amendment to Contract DA-5498 with Paslay Management Group; and authorize the Chief Executive Officer, or designee, to execute said First Amendment after approval as to form by the City Attorney.
