RESOLUTION NO.      - Award of three (3)-year Contract to South Bay Shine Fleet Wash, LLC:  Covering washing and detailing of airfield buses, vehicles, and equipment at Los Angeles International Airport and Van Nuys Airport, for cost not to exceed $450,000 \nPURPOSE: The purpose of the request is to establish a three (3)-year contract for bus and vehicle washing, detailing, disinfecting, and as-needed related services. This action will allow Los Angeles World Airports to property clean the buses, vehicles, and equipment at Los Angeles International Airport and Van Nuys Airport that promotes a safe, clean, and pleasant experience for all passengers, visitors, and employees. \nRECOMMENDATIONS: Adoption of the Report requesting that the Board of Airport Commissioners determine that this action is exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) pursuant to Article II, Section 2.f of the Los Angeles City CEQA Guidelines; find that the work can be performed more economically or feasibly by an independent contractor than by City employees; approve Award of Contract to South Bay Shine Fleet Wash, LLC; and authorize the Chief Executive Officer, or designee, to execute said Contract after approval as to form by the City Attorney.
