G. Approval of Contract with SHI International Corp. for purchase of software from Granicus, LLC. for\nshort term rental address verification, compliance monitoring, permitting, and tax collection services\nfor the City of Santa Monica\nRecommended Action\nStaff recommends that the City Council:\n1. Adopt a finding of Categorical Exemption pursuant to Section 15061(b)(3) (Common\nSense Exemption) of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) Guidelines; and\n2. Authorize the City Manager to negotiate and execute a professional services agreement\nwith SHI International for purchase of software services from Granicus, LLC for short\nterm rental address verification, compliance monitoring, permitting and tax collection\nservices for the Community Development and Finance Departments.
