C. Authorization to accept Grant from the California Office of Traffic Safety for the Selective\nEnforcement Program.\nRecommended Action\nStaff recommends that the City Council:\n1. Adopt a finding of Categorical Exemption pursuant to Section 15321 of the California\nEnvironmental Quality Act (CEQA) Guidelines\n2. Authorize the City Manager to accept a grant awarded in the amount of $306,000 from\nthe California Office of Traffic Safety for the Police Department’s Selective Traffic\nEnforcement Program.\n3. Authorize the City Manager to execute all necessary documents to accept the grant and\nall subsequent grant renewals.\n4.
