Michigan Park Improvements Project – Notice Inviting Bids and\nModular Building Purchase\nRecommendation:\n1) Find the Project is Categorically Exempt pursuant to Section 15301\nExisting Facilities and 15303 New Construction or Conversion of Small\nStructures of the California Environmental Quality Act guidelines.\n2) Approve Plans and Specifications for the Michigan Park Improvements\nProject.\n3) Authorize the City Clerk to advertise for construction bids.\n4) Authorize the City Manager to purchase a new VESTA modular voting\ncenter at a cost of $235,686.\n5) Adopt Resolution No. 2023-70, allocating funding for the purchase and\nuse of a modular building as a Vote Center and other recreational activities\nat Michigan Park.
