(9) Resolution Awarding the Construction Contract for the Citywide CMP Lining\nand Rehabilitation Program 2023 (CIP 2023-20) Project and Determining the\nProject is Categorically Exempt from Environmental Review Under the\nCalifornia Environmental Quality Act (“CEQA”) per State CEQA Guidelines\nSection 15301(c). (Engineering – Schmitz)\nRecommendation:\nAdopt the Resolution:\n1. Awarding the construction contract for the Citywide CMP Lining and\nRehabilitation Program 2023 (CIP 2023-20) Project to Sancon Technologies, Inc.\nfor a total amount of $1,201,334.00; and\n2. Authorizing the City Manager to execute all necessary documents to execute the\ncontract on behalf of the City; and\n3. Authorizing the Director of Engineering/City Engineer to approve change orders\nin a total amount not to exceed $300,334.00; and\n4. Determining this action is categorically exempt from the California Environmental\nQuality Act (“CEQA”) pursuant to Section 15301(c), Existing Facilities, of the\nCEQA Guidelines.
