1. RECOGNITION OF KENADIE KELLY. Kenadie Kelly is a 13-year-old student at\nRamona Middle School who is being honored for her dedicated service to our four-legged\nfriends. Over the last four to five years, Kenadie has donated proceeds from her Girl\nScout cookie money to local shelters in La Verne and neighboring cities. She additionally\ncreates bookmarks and sea glass jewelry, providing 100% of her sales to shelters.\nKenadie has donated over $5,000 in the past few years to various shelters and recently\ndonated $250 to the La Verne K9 Police Foundation. The City Council will provide a\nCertificate of Recognition to Kenadie for her community efforts.
