6.F. CO-SPONSORSHIP OF THE UNIQUE\nWOMAN’S COALITION’S ANNUAL\n’TRANSGIVING DINNER’ EVENT [J.\nERICKSON, S. SHYNE, Y. QUARKER, J.\nDEL TORO, J. DUCKWORTH]:\nThe City Council will consider approving a co-\nsponsorship of the Unique Woman’s\nCoalition’s ’Transgiving Dinner’, an annual\nholiday dinner that provides a safe space,\nresources, and community for the Transgender\ncommunity.\nRECOMMENDATIONS: 1) Approve the co-\nsponsorship of the Unique Woman's\nCoalition's 'Transgiving Dinner', an annual\nThanksgiving holiday inspired dinner and\ncommunity event on Sunday, November 19,\n2023; 2) Authorize the use of the City name\nand logo on invitations, programs, and other\ncollateral materials; 3) Direct the\nCommunications Department to utilize all\nappropriate communication tolls to promote\nthe event, such as the City's website and\nsocial media tools; 4) Authorize the City\nManager or designee to execute documents\nincident to the co-sponsorship agreement; and\n5) Authorize the Director of Finance and\nTechnology Services to allocate $5,000 from\nFiscal Year 2023-2024 budgeted funds in the\nSpecial Council Programs account number\n100-1-01-00-531001 for costs associated with\nthe event.\nSTAFF REPORT\nITEM 6.F. - ATTACHMENT A
