6.A. CO-SPONSORSHIP WITH C.I.T.Y. X1\nYOUTH GROUP’S 2023 PRE-\nTHANKSGIVING DINNER AND\nCOMMUNITY EVENTS [Y. QUARKER, J.\nDEL TORO, J. DUCKWORTH]:\nThe City Council will consider co-sponsoring\nthe C.I.T.Y. x1 Youth Group’s 2023 "Big Feast"\npre-Thanksgiving dinner and community\nevents throughout the month of November.\nRECOMMENDATIONS: 1) Approve the co-\nsponsorship of the C.I.T.Y. x1 Youth Group's\n"2023 "Big Feast" pre-Thanksgiving dinner\nand community events beginning on Sunday,\nNovember 19, 2023, and lasting through\namount of $1,000; 2) Authorize the use of the\nCity name and logo on invitations, programs,\nand other collateral materials; 3) Direct the\nCommunications Department to utilize all\nappropriate communication tolls to promote\nthe event, such as the City's website and\nsocial media tools; 4) Authorize the City\nManager or designee to execute documents\nincident to the co-sponsorship agreement; and\n5) Authorize the Director of Finance and\nTechnology Services to allocate $1,000 from\nFiscal Year 2023-2024 budgeted funds in the\nLesbian and Gay Programs account number\n100-3-50-15-533022 for costs associated with\nthe event.\nSTAFF REPORT\nITEM 6.A. - ATTACHMENT A
