B. ADOPTION OF RESOLUTIONS CALLING FOR THE 2024 GENERAL\nMUNICIPAL ELECTION, ESTABLISHING REGULATIONS FOR CANDIDATE\nSTATEMENTS, AND APPROVAL OF ELECTION RELATED SERVICES\nIn preparation for the March 5, 2024 General Municipal Election, the City Council is\nrequested to adopt the proposed resolutions to allow staff to proceed with conducting the\nelection.\nRecommendation:\n1. Adopt Resolution No. 23-5703 (Attachment “A”) calling the General Municipal\nElection for March 5, 2024;\n2. Adopt Resolution No. 23-5704 (Attachment “B”) requesting Board of\nSupervisor of the County of Los Angeles to consolidate City’s General\nMunicipal election to be held on the same date with the Statewide General\nElection; and\n3. Adopt Resolution No. 23-5705 (Attachment “C”) establishing regulations for\ncandidates pertaining to candidate statements submitted to the voters at an\nelection to be held on March 5, 2024.
