5. CONSIDERATION AND APPROVAL TO PERFORM EMERGENCY\nREPLACEMENT OF WATER PRODUCTION WELL NO. 14 MOTOR\nRECOMMENDED THAT CITY COUNCIL:\n1. Pursuant to Municipal Code Section 2-5.13 Emergency purchase, authorize the\nCity Manager, Public Works Director and Finance Director to proceed without\nsolicitation of bids to a contract for the replacement of Water Production Well No.\n14; and\n2. Authorize LittleJohn-Reuland Corp. to make the necessary replacement of the\nmotor for a not-to-exceed amount of $16,160.45 payable from Account No. 681-\n8030-461.43-30.
