FISCAL YEAR 2023-24 STATE OF CALIFORNIA OFFICE OF TRAFFIC SAFETY SELECTIVE TRAFFIC\nENFORCEMENT PROGRAM (STEP) GRANT AND BUDGET ADJUSTMENT\nRequest the City Council adopt Resolution No. 2023-133 authorizing the Escondido Police Department to\naccept a Fiscal Year 2023-24 California Office of Traffic Safety (OTS) Selective Traffic Enforcement\nProgram (“STEP”) Grant in the amount of $495,000; authorize the Chief of Police or his designee to\nexecute grant documents on behalf of the City; and approve budget adjustments needed to spend grant\nfunds.
