Appointment to the Finance Committee and Amendment to Committee\nCharter Related to Membership\nRecommended Action: The Council liaisons to the Finance Committee\nrecommend that the City Council: 1) Reappoint Jeff Sturgis as a voting member\nto the Committee to serve a partial term of eighteen (18) months effective\nNovember 10, 2023, and ending on May 30, 2025; and 2) Adopt a Resolution\n(Attachment A) amending the Finance Committee Charter (Exhibit A to\nAttachment A) to reduce the Committee’s membership size from nine to seven\nmembers, which will be accomplished over time through attrition.\nReference: Clerk’s File No. 401-5
