OTHER MATTERS\nDiscussion and Potential Consideration Related Directly Elected Mayor Position - Council\nMember Johnson has requested an item to discuss and consider revisiting a directly elected\nmayor in-lieu of the current rotational system set forth by Ordinance No. 1107 adopted on\nDecember 6, 2021, by a 4-1 vote of the City Council. This item will allow discussion and for the\nCity Council to provide appropriate direction.\nSTAFF RECOMMENDATION: That the City Council provide direction related to re-\nestablishing a directly elected Mayor position.
