4. PRESENTATIONS\nSouthern California Association of Governments (SCAG) Presentation – The City of\nLa Verne participated with SCAG as part of a region wide EV Infrastructure Plan. The primary\nobjective of the Plan is to understand how to best continue fostering EV adoption in alignment\nwith the State’s goals. Throughout the project, SCAG completed a region wide EV charging\nstation suitability analysis, conducted site evaluations, engaged the public and stakeholders to\nunderstand barriers to EV adoption, reviewed the City’s policies related to streamlined EV\npermitting, and developed educational resources for the public, City staff, and property owners.\nThis presentation will review the key results of this project as it relates to the City of La Verne.
