Adoption of Resolution Authorizing the Application for Grant Funds from the The U.S. Department of\nInterior - Bureau of Reclamation FY 2024 WaterSMART Drought Response Program for the Santa\nMonica Groundwater Well SM-4 Replacement Project\nRecommended Action\nStaff recommends that the City Council:\n1. Adopt a finding of categorical exemption pursuant to Section 15302 (Class 2 –\nReplacement/Reconstruction) of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA)\nGuidelines.\n2. Adopt the attached resolution authorizing the application for grant funds in the amount of\nup to $2,375,000 from the U.S. Department of Interior - Bureau of Reclamation for the\nSM-4 Groundwater Well Replacement Project in the Public Works Department.\n3.
