13.i AWARD CONTRACT NO. C46480 TO WILLCORP ENGINEERING OF 149\nPALM DESERT, CALIFORNIA, FOR THE FREEDOM PARK STORM\nDAMAGE CLEANUP IN THE AMOUNT OF $873,436.25 (PROJECT NO.\nSDS00003)\nRECOMMENDATION:\n1. Award Contract No. C46480 to WillCorp Engineering of Palm\nDesert, California, for the Freedom Park Storm Damage Cleanup\nin the amount of $873,436.25.\n2. Authorize the Director of Finance to set aside a contingency in the\namount of $50,000 for unforeseen conditions.\n3. Authorize the City Manager to review and approve written requests\nfor the use of contingency per Section 3.30.170 of the Palm Desert\nMunicipal Code.\n4. Authorize the City Attorney to make any necessary, non-monetary\nchanges to the Agreement and the authorize the City Manager to\nexecute said agreement.
