Recommendation to award a construction contract to Crosstown Electric & Data Inc.,\nin the amount of $795,778 for the HSIP Cycle 8 Carson Street Signal Hardware\npotential to result in a direct or reasonably foreseeable indirect physical change to\nthe environment. 14 Cal. Code Regs. § 15378(a). Further, this Ordinance is exempt\nfrom CEQA as there is no possibility that this Ordinance or its implementation would\nhave a significant negative effect on the environment. 14 Cal. Code Regs. §\n15061(b)(3); and\nSet Ordinance No. 2023­613 for adoption at the November 14, 2023, City Council\nmeeting.\nSUGGESTED ACTION: Approve Recommendation.\n2.
